IRS Announces Start Date for 2025 Tax Season

The Internal Revenue Service announced that the nation’s 2025 tax season will start on Monday, Jan. 27, 2025.

• Address change

• Name change

• New/additional dependents

• Electric Vehicle purchase

• New home purchase

Please prepare by organizing your documents:

• Forms W-2 from your employer(s)

• Forms 1099 from banks, issuing agencies, and other payers, including

  unemployment compensation, dividends, pension, annuity, or retirement plan distributions

• Form 1099-K, 1099-MISC, W-2, or other income statement if you participated in the gig economy

• Form 1099-INT if you received interest

• Other income documents and records of digital asset transactions

• Form 1095-A, Health Insurance Marketplace Statement, to reconcile advance payments or claim Premium Tax Credits for Marketplace coverage

• IRS or other agency correspondence

• CP01A Notice containing your new Identity Protection PIN
